​​What is Project Whetstone?

Project Whetstone is a new initiative from Integrative Psychology of North Carolina dedicated to supporting veterans, military personnel, and first responders as they navigate the unique challenges of service and transition to civilian life. Our mission is to build a resilient, connected community through holistic, evidence-based therapy and innovative group experiences.

Specialized Veteran EMDR Therapy

  • Trauma-informed care tailored for veterans and high-stress professionals

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) delivered by experienced, compassionate clinicians

  • We believe in the strength of community healing

  • Group therapy sessions offer a safe, confidential space for connection and growth

  • No experience required—just a willingness to walk alongside others on their healing journey
